Catherine Deter, a partner in WSHB's Orange County office, will share her wisdom in an important panel focused on design professionals at the upcoming Annual CLM Conference in San Diego. Entitled, "The Pitfalls and Best Practices for Design Professionals Emerging From the Pandemic," the panel will address the impact of the remote world and its implications on design professionals. Catherine will be joined by esteemed colleagues, Brad Hart from Beazley and Donna Hunt from Ironshore Insurance Company.

The panel will highlight the face of modern architecture and engineering practice as the world continues to emerge from the impact of the pandemic. With in-person interaction becoming almost obsolete during COVID, a huge pivot was necessary in the design industry where frequent in-person-client interaction and collaboration was the norm. This discussion will address best practices for architects, engineers, and other design professionals as they adapt to a post-pandemic world. Panelists will explore the current state of interpersonal relationships in the workplace, the new emphasis on green building and sustainability, and best practices in the new remote world.

Catherine Deter represents national and regional construction, engineering and architectural firms in complex litigation and business and employment practice issues and disputes in her practice.
