  • Congratulations to WSHB Partner Frances O’Meara, who was recently elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) at the National Board Meeting in Newport Beach, California, on January 17, 2026. Founded in 1958, ABOTA is regarded as one of the legal profession’s most prestigious organizations. Membership is reserved for trial lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding trial experience, civility, integrity, and professionalism. To qualify, a lawyer must have tried at least 10 civil jury cases to verdict.
