Her background spans catastrophic injury, product liability, trucking, insurance, and complex multi-party disputes. Neill is a seasoned trial attorney with a record of more than 70 successful bench and jury trials. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage and complex civil litigation, and is known for his disciplined advocacy and commitment to client success. As Managing Partner, Neil will drive innovation and excellence at our Birmingham office while continuing to tackle high-stakes cases.

Congratulations to WSHB Partner Frances O’Meara, who was recently elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) at the National Board Meeting in Newport Beach, California, on January 17, 2026. Founded in 1958, ABOTA is regarded as one of the legal profession’s most prestigious organizations. Membership is reserved for trial lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding trial experience, civility, integrity, and professionalism. To qualify, a lawyer must have tried at least 10 civil jury cases to verdict.
