Overview

As Senior Counsel in WSHB’s Northern California office, Illise Schulman brings over 30 years of distinguished legal experience. She has litigated complex and high-exposure cases in a wide array of practice areas, including complex torts, property damage, construction defect, products liability, business, intellectual property, and employment. Ms. Schulman has successfully represented hundreds of clients throughout all stages of litigation, from inception through trial and appeal. She is also an experienced mediator who understands the value of preparation, communication, and collaboration to prevent and solve problems while maximizing success. She has been recognized by peers, judges, mediators, and clients for her knowledge, tough advocacy, and commitment to her clients.

Ms. Schulman earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley Law and her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan. When not working, she enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
