Overview

Daniel Murphy is a senior associate in the firm's New York office. In his position with the firm, Daniel handles commercial litigation, commercial and residential landlord-tenant litigation, and tort-based claims and litigation, including personal injury suits and construction-based claims. He is well versed in motion practice, filing appeals, oral arguments, trial work, and negotiating settlements. Daniel has successfully overturned cases on appeal, most notably in Harris v. Harris, 2021 NY Slip Op 02105, 193 A.D.3d 457, 148 N.Y.S.3d 1 (App. Div. 1st Dept.). He has also sat first chair on several trials, including in the Supreme Court. Daniel is experienced in conducting direct and cross-examination. 

A graduate of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Daniel is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
