Overview

A senior associate in the firm’s Portland office, Carmen Livengood’s practice focuses on the defense of catastrophic injury, employment, and construction defect matters. Carmen is experienced in all phases of civil litigation, and has had great success in helping clients defend against and resolve complex legal disputes.

Carmen is a graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School. While there, Carmen served as president of the Labor and Employment Law Society, where she specialized in researching and analyzing labor and employment disputes. Carmen also clerked with student legal services at Portland State University, assisting low income students with legal issues ranging from discrimination/wrongful termination in the workplace to landlord/tenant disputes.

Prior to attending law school, Carmen worked for five years as a paralegal in the insurance industry.
