Aleena Cesena (she/her) is an associate attorney in WSHB's Sonoma County office, where she handles all aspects of complex civil litigation. With a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and civil procedure, Aleena excelled during her first year of law school, achieving top marks in these critical areas. This academic excellence set the stage for her focused pursuit of tax and business law courses in the later years of her legal education.

Passionate about all facets of civil law, Aleena is driven by a profound love for the legal profession and a commitment to continuous learning. Currently, she is deeply engaged in civil litigation, thoroughly enjoying every aspect of the field and eagerly anticipating opportunities for growth and development.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Aleena has a diverse range of personal interests, including reading mystery and thriller novels, as well as exploring mathematics, science, history, geography, and technology. These interests reflect a well-rounded intellect and a curiosity that extends beyond the legal realm.

Aleena has been a proud resident of San Francisco for close to 10 years and is deeply committed to the city. Together with her spouse, an officer in the San Francisco Police Department, they are active members of the LGBTQ+ community and passionate advocates for positive change and the greater good.

Aleena's connection to the community is further exemplified by her dedication as a volunteer coach for the Northern California Special Olympics. For almost 15 years, Aleena has served as a tennis coach, participating in summer games events and fostering a supportive environment for athletes with special needs.
