WSHB Partner James Tyrie Leads Panel Discussion at 2020 CLM Annual Conference

WSHB Partner James Tyrie takes to the stage at this year’s Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas to lead a panel session titled "Risk Transfer and Contractual Indemnification – Who Gets Left Holding the Bag?"

This must-see session will cover the ramifications of what occurs when an insured fails to obtain the proper risk transfer and indemnification language and then attempts to proceed with enforcing the indemnification. Also to be discussed are the proper documentation and language to be used by an insured to demonstrate how to properly ensure that an indemnification provision will be successful for risk transfer.

"This widely anticipated session will definitely be standing room only due to the collective knowledge brought by the presenters, all widely regarded as industry leaders in identification and transferring risks presented by claims," said Stephen Henning, co-founder of Wood Smith Henning & Berman and CLM's 2019 Recipient of the Outside Counsel of the Year. "Cutting edge strategies, opportunities for success and tools available to the claim professional, risk manager and lawyers will be explored in depth during this presentation."

Mr. Tyrie will be presenting alongside industry leaders' Christine Bernstock, (AECOM), Kendra Schropp (Freeman Company), and William Wingertzahn (Sompo International Insurance). The panel will commence on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 3:25 PM.
