Overview

Touré Ohene is an associate attorney in WSHB’s Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on the defense of healthcare providers, including skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities, hospitals, drug and alcohol rehabilitation providers, physicians, and nurses, with a special emphasis in the areas of elder abuse, patient rights violations, negligence, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.

Before joining the firm, Touré practiced with firms where he represented healthcare providers, including hospitals, in litigation related to medical malpractice, wrongful death, and elder abuse. His background also includes defending insurance companies against personal injury and construction defects lawsuits.

Touré graduated from the Long Island University Brooklyn Campus in with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a minor in Sports Science. He earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from LIU Brooklyn, where he graduated with distinction and was awarded the Pi Alpha Public Affairs and Administration Honor. Touré received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and was awarded the Pro Bono Service Recognition with High Distinction.
