Overview
Taylor Friel is an associate at WSHB’s Hartford, Connecticut office. Her practice focuses on employment and labor law, as well as general liability and personal injury matters. She represents employers and businesses through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Before joining WSHB, Taylor worked at a Connecticut-based plaintiffs’ firm, where she handled cases involving employment, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. This experience provides her with valuable insight into both sides of litigation, enhancing her ability to develop thoughtful and effective defense strategies.
While attending the University of Connecticut School of Law, Taylor distinguished herself in both written and oral advocacy, earning multiple CALI Excellence Awards and serving in leadership roles on the Connecticut Moot Court Board and the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. Upon graduation, she received the Terry J. Tondro Award for excellence in the study of affordable housing and urban revitalization.
Taylor earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and economics from the University of Connecticut. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, where she is committed to delivering clients strategic, results-driven representation.
