Overview
Sydney Sloas is a Senior Associate Attorney at WSHB’s Ontario, California office. She has extensive experience in complex civil litigation, with a primary focus on employment law, professional responsibility, and intellectual property. Sydney is also skilled in handling consumer and product liability matters.
Sydney earned her law degree from St. Thomas University’s Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, graduating cum laude and with a certificate in Intellectual Property. While at St. Thomas, she served as the Vice President of Sports for the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Sydney also earned the CALI Award for Excellence, awarded to the top scorer in each law school class, for her efforts in Innovations and Patent Management and Moral Dilemmas Seminar.
Before law school, Sydney attended the University of Memphis where she earned a Bachelor’s in Sport and Leisure Management and graduated magna cum laude. While at the University of Memphis, Sydney earned the Outstanding Senior in Sport and Leisure Management Award. Sydney also holds a Master’s in Sports Law and Business from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she was taught by Major League Baseball commissioner emeritus Allan “Bud” Selig.
In her free time, she enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, cooking, and spending time with her puppy, Strikes.
