Overview
Reynaldo Garza is a senior associate attorney in WSHB's Rio Grande Valley office, handling all facets of complex civil litigation. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2022, he is proficient in both English and Spanish.
Reynaldo earned his J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, where he received the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association Scholarship, joined the Latinx Student Association and Immigration Law Initiative, and performed pro bono work with the Immigrant Rights Clinic. He also holds a B.S. in Biology with minors in Philosophy and Chemistry from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he was a frequent Dean’s List recipient.
Before entering private practice, Reynaldo completed legal internships that provided civil and criminal law experience, including clerking for Judge Dale Tillery in the 134th District Court in Dallas, Texas; assisting the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas in McAllen; and helping individuals in need through Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid in Laredo, Texas.
Reynaldo then served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Hidalgo County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases and gaining courtroom and trial experience drafting motions, arguing hearings, and preparing crime victims and law enforcement for trial.
