Overview

Raisul Bhuiyan is a senior associate in WSHB's Orlando, Florida, office. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation cases involving personal injury and general liability, with a focus on commercial transportation defense and premises litigation.

Raisul received his Bachelor of Science from St. Lawrence University and subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law. While in law school, Raisul served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Family Law Journal and participated in the Collaborative Family Law Clinic.

Before joining WSHB, Raisul worked for the State Attorney's office in the 9th Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Attorney (ASA). As an Assistant State Attorney, he first-chaired several misdemeanor jury trials. He served as first and second chair in felony trials before leaving to work at a civil commercial transportation defense firm, where he defended numerous trucking clients and was part of the firm's emergency response team. Raisul has brought the insight he garnered over to the civil side to protect our clients aggressively.

Raisul was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is originally from Brooklyn, New York, and has resided in Florida since 2016. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa.
