Overview
Paula Romero is a senior counsel member at WSHB, practicing in the firm’s Boca Raton, Florida office. She is an experienced civil litigator with nearly a decade of experience representing insurers across Florida in coverage analysis and policy interpretation. Her work involves both first-party and third-party litigation related to residential and commercial property insurance, as well as general liability claims, including premises liability, automobile accidents, and complex personal injury cases.
Paula is well-regarded for her ability to assess risk, develop effective litigation strategies, and achieve successful outcomes in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining WSHB, she worked at a regional defense firm, where she handled a diverse range of cases, including fraud investigations, complex coverage matters, and high-exposure claims. Her reputation is built on her thorough legal analysis, strategic litigation approach, and dedication to delivering efficient, results-driven outcomes for firm clients.
In addition to practicing law, Paula is an active member of the Palm Beach Craig S. Barnard Inn of Court, an organization dedicated to fostering excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills among lawyers and judges.
Paula earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University and went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. During her time in law school, she completed the University of Miami's prestigious Litigation Skills Program. Fluent in Spanish, Paula is also committed to community service, demonstrated by her long-standing volunteer work with Ronald McDonald House Charities.
