Overview
Nicole Horton is a senior associate at WSHB’s Boca Raton office handling complex first party property coverage issues. Born and raised in South Florida, Ms. Horton graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law with her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Ms. Horton was a member of the Moot Court Society and competed on behalf of NSU, arguing multifaceted oral arguments, scoring in the top tier. She also served as associate lead articles editor for the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law. During this time, Ms. Horton worked at a boutique law firm in Miami, specializing in maritime law. After graduation, she focused her work on first party property insurance coverage. She credits this experience to her in-depth knowledge of insurance coverage matters.
As an undergraduate, Ms. Horton attended Florida State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family in addition to teaching fitness classes on the weekends.
