Overview

Nate Dominy is a senior associate in the Richmond, Virginia, office of WSHB. His practice focuses on civil litigation throughout Virginia. His legal experience covers a wide range of practice areas, including employment law, workers’ compensation, international maritime law, and forestry law.

Nate earned his J.D. at the William & Mary Law School, where he honed his writing skills as an Articles Editor for the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review. He gained legal experience as an ACC Corporate Scholar and as a Legal Intern with Apex Systems. Nate also interned with a consulting company where he researched international maritime and forestry laws.

Before attending law school, Nate was a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps and taught English to over 400 middle school students in Sadjoavato, Diana, Madagascar. Nate also has a master's degree in Music Technology and a bachelor's degree in Music Performance, specializing in percussion.

Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his dog, Emerald, as well as saltwater fishing, woodworking, honing new recipes, and ultimate frisbee.
