Overview
Miles Masog is a formidable trial attorney and a dynamic partner at WSHB's Phoenix, Arizona, office. As a result of litigation prowess in these sectors, he regularly handles business litigation for clients involved in these sectors.
Miles brings an aggressive and strategic approach to his practice, ensuring that client issues are resolved swiftly and effectively. He does not shy away from litigation when necessary, demonstrating a fearless commitment to defending his clients' interests. His notable contributions to significant legal battles include the case MT Builders v. Fisher Roofing, which resulted in a published opinion that shaped future legal frameworks.
In the Supreme Court case Yanni v. Tucker Plumbing, Inc., Miles was pivotal in crafting the dispositive motion that led to the successful defense against the plaintiffs' Petition for Writ of Certiorari, culminating in the denial of the writ by the Supreme Court. His skillful legal acumen was also evident in his involvement in the Arizona Court of Appeals case Jokake v. Elward, where he played a key role in drafting the Response Brief. Furthermore, in Okland Construction Company Inc. v. Zum Industries LLC, he meticulously prepared the underlying dispositive motion and reply. His trial skills are complemented by this ability to deliver powerful arguments in the courtroom and on paper.
Before joining WSHB, Miles focused his practice on civil litigation, transactional business formation, estate planning, and business and real estate transactions. While he was in law school, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Ventura County District Attorney's Office in California.
Outside of work, Miles dedicates his time as an officer for one of the 30 largest charitable organizations in Arizona. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His interests include soccer, college football, amateur astronomy, and making contributions to the Phoenix community.
