Overview
Meet Matthew Colton, an associate attorney based in WSHB's New York office. He specializes in handling construction and premises claims, as well as New York Labor Law.
Matthew's impressive educational background includes completing his BBA in management, with a focus on Operations Management from Baruch College, followed by obtaining his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
His previous experience includes working in the legal and operations departments of a financial technology provider, where he supported client-facing employees with sales contracts and legal agreements for hedge funds, large asset managers, mutual funds, and brokers. He credits this experience with his well-deserved reputation for contemporaneous communication with clients about legal strategies when handling matters.
Outside of the practice of law, Matthew is an avid sports fan who enjoys rooting for the New York Mets and New York Jets.
