Overview
Loundy Desire is an associate attorney at the New York City office of WSHB, where she handles cases related to construction site accidents, transportation liability, and premises liability.
She graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she served as President of the Tax Law Society. In that role, she led a team of 30 volunteers in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, overseeing the filing of 150 tax returns at no cost for the Hempstead community.
Additionally, Loundy interned as a student attorney at the Federal Low-Income Tax Clinic, providing free legal services to low-income individuals facing disputes with the IRS through representation, case analysis, and legal research. She also held the position of Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of International Business and Law.
