Overview

Loretta Carlson is a senior associate in WSHB’s Las Vegas office handling complex civil litigation matters including complex tort and construction defect cases.

Ms. Carlson was born in Massachusetts where she resided until her family relocated to San Diego, California. She attended the University of California Los Angeles where she was originally admitted to the School of Fine Arts as a Dance Major. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and an emphasis on Public Administration.

Loretta is a graduate of Loyola Law Los Angeles. During law school, Loretta worked full-time as a certified paralegal focusing on large-scale litigation. She commenced her attorney career in California assisting as defense counsel during the national savings and loan crisis. Her early career also focused on construction defect litigation.

In 1993, Loretta relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada where she focused her practice on construction defect, premises liability, medical malpractice, professional liability and bad faith litigation.

Beyond practicing law, Loretta is dedicated to the promotion of performing arts and education in her community. She spends her free time attending and participating in creative performances including dance and music.
