Overview
Liz Horn has extensive experience in civil litigation in multiple tribunals, including state courts, federal courts, appellate courts, multidistrict litigation, and regulatory agencies. She has defended insurers, utility companies, banks, developers, contractors, and both small businesses and large corporations. She is licensed in North Carolina and Louisiana.
Liz is a skilled litigator who has successfully argued motions in federal district court, drafted briefs for federal appellate courts and the Louisiana Supreme Court, and prepared bid protests for municipal, state, and federal contract awards. She has negotiated settlements in personal injury lawsuits, provided advice and representation to attorneys facing disciplinary issues, and taken depositions and attended site visits.
Liz lives in Winston-Salem and, when not practicing law, can often be found hiking in the mountains with her dogs.
