Overview
Leslie Phiefer is senior counsel at WSHB in Las Vegas, Nevada. With over 25 years of experience in commercial litigation, Leslie's practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including business matters in Las Vegas and Reno.
Leslie began her legal career on the East Coast after earning a B.A. in English from Montclair State University and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. While at Seton Hall, she published an article and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Legislative Journal, overseeing the publication of two volumes with a team of 45.
After law school, Leslie practiced commercial and consumer litigation in foreclosure, commercial lending and leasing, community association law, and debt collection. She advised, defended, and negotiated settlements for thousands of indigent New Jersey residents as a consumer defense attorney for Legal Services of New Jersey. She has also managed a large caseload of contested commercial and consumer foreclosure matters for nationwide banks and large commercial lenders, and has practiced municipal regulatory and administrative law.
In August 2023, Leslie moved to Las Vegas to continue her legal career. She was admitted to the Nevada bar in October 2024 and practices complex civil litigation in the Nevada federal and state courts. She has also worked on appeals in the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit.
Leslie is admitted to the Nevada and New Jersey bars, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
