Overview
Lauren McDowell is an experienced associate attorney handling all facets of complex civil litigation. Her expertise lies in employment, complex torts, construction, and premises liability claims.
Her previous experience includes practicing as a plaintiff’s workers’ compensation attorney. In this capacity, Lauren handled all aspects of workers' compensation matters, including depositions, court appearances, and presenting an appellate argument at the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania in its capitol, Harrisburg. Her unique experience provides her insights into strategy and resolution practices which she utilizes in her approach to defense practice.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Justice Studies with a Minor in Legal Studies from Drexel University. She continued her education at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she received her law degree. While at Villanova Law, Lauren served as a research assistant and focused on employment discrimination. In her last year at Villanova, she was a clinical student at the Civil Justice Clinic, where she provided legal resources to low-income clients for various matters, including family custody disputes and landlord-tenant issues.
