Overview

Kendra McGuire is an associate attorney at WSHB's Hartford office. Her areas of expertise includes all facets of complex civil litigation. Her previous experience includes defending a wide range of tort cases, as well as sports and recreational litigation.

Kendra is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Connecticut Insurance Law Journal (Volume 28). She is also the proud recipient of the 2022 University of Connecticut Insurance Law Center J.D. Award. While in law school, Kendra served as a teaching assistant and interned with the United States Attorneys' Office District of Connecticut, in addition to working in a civil litigation law firm. She also achieved the CALI Excellence for the Future Award® (highest grade) in her Street Law in the High School course, during which she empowered Connecticut youths to be active, engaged citizens by providing knowledge about law that is practical and relevant to their lives.

She is a summa cum laude alumni of Auburn University, where Kendra received her undergraduate degree in psychology and political science. 

In her free time, Kendra enjoys yoga, skiing, and spending time on Connecticut's shoreline.
