Overview

Ivetta Arquell is senior counsel at WSHB’s Los Angeles office handling complex civil litigation. Her experience includes all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation resolution of matters, pre-trial discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

Ivetta was admitted to the California Bar in 2017 after graduating from Southwestern Law School, where she was a Finalist Brief Writer for the Trial Advocacy Program. While in law school, Ivetta was a law clerk for a personal injury law firm handling premises liability, auto accidents, subrogation, and complex torts. After passing the bar, she began practicing in civil litigation law, first on the plaintiff’s side, then as a defense attorney. 

Before law school, Ivetta completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a B.A. in English, History, and Slavic Studies. She has always been interested in law ever since she was young. She enjoys being able to be a voice for the firm’s clients and helping those that need legal representation.

Outside of work, Ivetta enjoys hiking, escape rooms, reading, and movies. Ivetta is fluent in Armenian and Russian.
