Overview

Heather Fial is an associate attorney in WSHB’s Phoenix, Arizona office, where she handles a wide spectrum of complex civil litigation matters.

Before joining WSHB, Heather spent nearly a decade as a residential real estate appraiser in Arizona and Colorado, ultimately earning her Certified Residential Appraiser designation. During this time, she completed thousands of property valuations and developed deep expertise in property condition assessment, valuation methodology, and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Heather also brings hands-on experience in developing residential properties, providing her with firsthand insight into the business realities our clients face, from construction and property management to risk allocation and insurance coverage.

This background informs her practical, results-driven approach to litigation. Her appraisal experience is a distinct asset in premises liability and property-related matters, where site conditions, documentation, and valuation issues are often central to the case.

Heather earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She also holds a B.S. in Finance, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business, where she obtained a Certificate in International Business.
