Overview
Garry T. Stevens Jr. is a vastly experienced litigation attorney with a strong background in representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation matters. As a partner in WSHB's White Plains office, he defends firm clients against various federal and state actions, including malpractice, fraud, breach of contract, and fiduciary duty claims.
His practice has benefited from his previous roles as a plaintiffs' class action attorney and defense counsel for municipalities facing allegations of constitutional violations, including wrongful termination and employment discrimination. Garry has a proven track record of successfully drafting effective dispositive motions and negotiating settlement agreements.
A hallmark of his practice is his effective communication with clients, quickly identifying issues and assessing the strengths and weaknesses of cases to facilitate settlements whenever possible. When an early resolution is not feasible, Garry has substantial experience managing discovery and preparing cases for trial.
