Overview
Elizabeth Ferguson Herrera is a partner in WSHB’s Rio Grande Valley office. Licensed in both Texas and Indiana, Beth represents firm clients through every stage of civil litigation, from early case evaluation and strategic planning through discovery, expert witness development, motion practice, mediation, and trial. Her experience includes defending high-exposure claims involving 18-wheeler and commercial motor vehicle accidents, as well as complex liability and insurance matters.
Beth has practiced as a civil litigation attorney since beginning her legal career in 2008, as a Deputy Attorney General in the Administrative & Regulatory Litigation Division of the Indiana Attorney General’s Office. After moving to Texas with her family, she continued her civil litigation practice and, in 2018, was Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction earned by only a select percentage of Texas attorneys.
Outside of the office, Beth enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She lives in McAllen, Texas, with her husband, their son, and the family dog.
