Overview

Drew Newman is an associate in WSHB's Boca Raton office. His practice focuses on first-party property and complex torts and casualties.

Drew is a graduate of Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, he was a competing member of the Trial Team and was the proud recipient of the Miami Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) scholarship, an award given to the student who best exemplifies the organization’s commitment to the right to trial by jury and upholding the highest levels of civility, integrity, and professionalism. Drew now assists the team by coaching when possible.

His legal experience includes working at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm. Drew has served as second chair counsel on multiple jury trials and participated in numerous summary judgment hearings and mediations. These early experiences provide him with a unique insight allowing him to shape cases strategically for a swift resolution.

Before attending law school, Drew was a licensed EMT and attended UCF, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.
