Overview
Azali Jeffrey is an associate attorney in WSHB’s Los Angeles office, where she handles professional liability defense for licensed professionals, including attorneys, architects, accountants, real estate brokers and agents, insurance brokers, and property management companies.
Ms. Jeffrey earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law and a Certificate in Business and Finance from the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law. During her time at Pepperdine, she studied abroad at the University’s London campus and was an active member of both the Women’s Legal Association and the Black Law Students Association.
During law school, Ms. Jeffrey gained in-house experience as a legal intern for a global women’s pharmaceutical company, handling mergers and acquisitions and regulatory compliance. She later worked as a law clerk and associate attorney at a civil litigation defense firm, where she assisted with cases involving habitability, property disputes, and transportation accidents. These early roles gave her practical insight into trial-focused defense work and led to a summary judgment win arising from a residential property sale.
Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
