Overview

Alphonso Peets is an accomplished trial attorney with 30 years of litigation experience. His practice focuses on drug, medical device, and pharmaceutical litigation, as well as products and premises liability, mass torts, and transportation litigation.

He has significant expertise in personal injury cases, including slip-and-fall, trip-and-fall, negligent security, and premises liability matters. A considerable portion of his career has also been dedicated to handling catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases resulting from auto and trucking accidents.

Al earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and later received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he won the Moot Court Competition. While attending Nova and working for Emergency Medical Services Associates, which later became Inphynet Medical Management, he developed an interest in medical malpractice defense. After graduation, he specialized in the defense of hospitals, nursing homes, physician groups, and healthcare providers in medical malpractice cases.

Outside of his professional work, Al is an active member of the FBI's Citizen Academy Alumni Association. He collaborates with the local FBI office on community initiatives, including the development and implementation of the FBI-SOS Program, which promotes safe online surfing, the FBI Summer Youth Academy, and the Citizens Academy Alumni Association Holiday Program.
