Alexis Hurd is an associate attorney in the Raleigh, North Carolina, office of WSHB, handling complex civil litigation.

Alexis graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she was a member of the Client Counseling team and held executive positions for the Women's Law Caucus and the Hispanic Law Student Association. In 2023 and 2024, Alexis participated and placed (with co-counsel) in the Regional ABA Client Counseling Competitions. Prior to and during law school, Alexis worked as a certified paralegal assisting in civil litigation and corporate law. Alexis earned her dual undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. During her undergraduate studies, she was a Division II student-athlete on the UNCP Women's Soccer team.

Originally from Jacksonville, NC, Alexis enjoys spoiling her dog and returning home to enjoy the beautiful beaches of eastern North Carolina.
