Wood Smith Henning & Berman is proud to report that it ranked eighth among law firms with 251-600 attorneys in the Law360 Pulse 2025 Diversity Snapshot, marking an upward move from ninth place in 2024. The recognition underscores the firm's continued efforts to recruit, promote and retain diverse talent at every level.
The 2025 Diversity Snapshot reveals that only 13% of law firms met or exceeded Law360's diversity benchmarks, a decline from 15.6% the prior year. Nearly half of all ranked firms scored between five and fifteen points below the benchmark, signaling that the legal industry still faces challenges in achieving equitable representation.
As in prior years, Law360's rankings are based on its pipeline score calculation, which evaluates how closely firms' attorney demographics align with the available pipeline of diverse talent. The 2025 report includes data from 248 participating firms, representing more than 100,000 U.S. attorneys and including over 45,000 partners. The survey, based on 2024 data, was conducted in early 2025 amid growing national debate over the legality of DEI initiatives.
Within this environment, WSHB continues to make measurable progress. Diverse attorneys make up 14.7% of all partners, 11.87% of equity partners. 15% of non-equity partners, 35.1% of all associates, and 26.1% of other lawyers at the firm.
