WSHB, a leading national law firm, is pleased to announce that its Executive Chairman and Co-Founder Daniel Berman will once again be an esteemed faculty member for the upcoming 2023 Litigation Management Institute (LMI). This annual educational program, organized by the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), is set to take place from October 19-22 in Chicago.

At LMI, legal professionals and claims experts gather to enhance their litigation management skills and learn from industry leaders. Berman's continued appointment as a faculty member not only highlights his exceptional expertise but also reaffirms WSHB's commitment to fostering excellence and sharing knowledge within the legal community.

Daniel Berman, in collaboration with Erik Scheinfeldt, AVP-Litigation from Amtrust, will be leading a highly anticipated session entitled "Legal Budgeting and Fee Considerations." This course aims to educate law firm users and claims professionals on the benefits of budgets and the various budget models available. Participants will gain insights into managing litigation more effectively through budget data mining and alternative fee arrangements (AFA's).

"We are delighted that Dan Berman and Erik Scheinfeldt are speaking together as faculty members at the 2023 Litigation Management Institute," said Stephen Henning, founding partner at WSHB. "Together, their extensive experience in litigation, combined with passions for teaching and mentoring, will undoubtedly provide valuable guidance to all attendees. The 'Legal Budgeting and Fee Considerations' session promises to be an enlightening opportunity for professionals to explore innovative strategies for managing litigation effectively."

The comprehensive curriculum at LMI equips participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate complex litigation matters. By combining theoretical concepts with practical case studies, the program fosters a dynamic learning environment that encourages attendees to explore creative approaches to litigation management.

With his deep understanding of legal budgeting and fee considerations, Berman will once again bring invaluable insights to the course. His engaging teaching style, coupled with his ability to simplify complex legal concepts, will ensure participants gain practical skills that can be applied in their day-to-day work.

“It is a privilege and an honor to share my knowledge and insights with fellow professionals in the field of litigation management,” said Berman. “I look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions, learning from my peers, and contributing to the growth and development of our industry.”
