Overview

With more than a decade of legal experience, Yijie Sun provides strategic counsel and vigorous advocacy to insurance carriers and a diverse clientele. He is known for his ability to navigate high-stakes litigation, particularly in personal injury, construction defect, medical malpractice, and bad faith matters, delivering results-driven representation tailored to each client’s needs.

Yijie has conducted more than 40 jury trials in both criminal and civil courts, including complex cases involving DUI, vehicular homicide, and premises liability. Earlier in his career, he served as Deputy District Attorney III in Pueblo, Colorado. 

Mr. Sun is a member of WSHB’s Senior Counsel class, practicing out of the firm’s Denver, Colorado, office. Licensed in Colorado, Arizona, and Texas, he routinely presents to new adjusters at a leading insurance carrier on Arizona law.

Beyond his legal practice, Yijie is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is a competitive badminton player.
