Overview

Nicholas B. Tuz is senior counsel at WSHB in Atlanta, Georgia. His practice focuses on insurance coverage, where he has considerable experience representing insurance companies in complex coverage disputes.

Prior to joining WSHB, Nicholas’ practice involved litigating coverage under a broad array of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, umbrella, automobile, farm, and homeowners’ policies. Through his coverage practice, he gained a thorough understanding of the claims resolution process by advising insurers on how to navigate claims that presented unique questions of coverage. His reliability and client-focused mindset fostered invaluable relationships with adjusters and underwriters with whom he worked.

In addition to his coverage work, Nicholas has experience in civil litigation, defending insured clients in tort, construction, and other civil actions. He is known for maintaining strong relationships with his clients, listening to their opinions and concerns, and working alongside them to secure favorable outcomes.

Nicholas earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Economics from Kennesaw State University. He is admitted to practice in Georgia courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
