Overview

As Senior Counsel in WSHB's El Segundo office, Jose Rojas concentrates his practice on employment and professional liability law. He brings significant experience representing employers and management in labor, employment, and civil litigation matters, providing strategic guidance and strong advocacy for his clients.

Jose earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his Juris Doctor from UC Davis School of Law, which he attended on a Dean’s Merit and Samuel S. Foulk Scholarships. While in law school, he served as managing editor of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review and staff editor of the UC Davis Business Law Journal. His accolades during this time include receiving the Sacramento County Bar Association 1L Diversity Fellowship, the CELA/FAIR Employee Justice Fellowship, and the Immigration and Nationality Law Certificate. He was also a summer associate at two prominent law firms during his first and second years, focusing on labor and employment matters, and participated in the law school’s Workers’ Rights Clinic and Immigration Law Clinic.

Mr. Rojas has experience representing detained and non-detained clients in both affirmative and non-affirmative immigration law matters. He is fluent in Spanish.
