Overview

Joanna Esposito is an associate in the White Plains, New York office of WSHB. Her practice focuses on professional liability defense, premises liability, labor and employment matters, construction litigation, and general liability.

Joanna represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in New York and New Jersey state courts and the federal courts in New York. She has experience handling matters through multiple phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motion practice, and pre-trial preparation

Prior to becoming an attorney, Joanna worked for more than a decade as a paralegal, providing her with a strong foundation in litigation practice and case management.

Joanna earned her Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from New Jersey City University. During both her undergraduate and legal studies, she received academic scholarships and consistently achieved Dean’s List honors.

Joanna is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She is proficient in intermediate Italian and has a basic understanding of Spanish.
