Overview
Hiren S. Bakrania is an accomplished civil litigation attorney based in Orange County, California, with extensive experience defending insurance carriers, corporations, and individuals across a broad range of complex matters. He is a senior associate attorney at WSHB, where he continues to build upon a distinguished litigation practice spanning general casualty, premises liability, professional liability, and consumer protection law.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bakrania has drafted and argued a wide range of dispositive motions, such as summary judgment motions, demurrers, and motions to strike, achieving successful outcomes at the trial court level in various California counties. He has also represented leading automotive manufacturers—including Maserati, Ford, Kia, and Fiat-Chrysler—in lemon law litigation.
Mr. Bakrania received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he concentrated in Trial Advocacy and Litigation. While in law school, he was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society, reaching the finals of the Intra-School Appellate Competition and competing nationally as an ABA Competitor in 2018, completing six full appellate proceedings. - Victory on Demurrer/Motion to Strike (October 2025): Successfully dismissed Plaintiffs’ claim for fraudulent concealment and request for punitive damages in San Joaquin Superior Court following oral argument, overturning the court’s initial tentative ruling.
- Victory on Motion for Summary Judgment/Adjudication (July 2024): Defeated and dismissed breach of contract and breach of the covenant of quiet enjoyment claims on behalf of Defendant/Insured in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
