Overview

Geoff K. West has experience handling a variety of cases, including those related to the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) and the Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA), wage and hour disputes, tort claims, and breach of contract claims, such as implied warranties and landlord habitability/premises liability issues. He has also worked extensively in real estate law, including formulating a ground lease buyout for a Fortune 200 company on behalf of a corporate buyer, drafting corporate wealth and property transfers, creating buy-sell agreements, and amending agreements governing entities in different corporate structures.

Geoff graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University, returning to Pepperdine Caruso School of Law after a successful career in politics. During his time there, Geoff served as the Vice President of OUTLaw, and was a panelist academic excellence, providing incoming 1L's with tips for success and improvement. He additionally externed for Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory W. Alarcon and was named a semifinalist in the school's annual Moot Court Competition.

At WSHB, Geoff brings his passion for litigation defense, where he vigorously defends physician and facility malpractice claims while navigating the complexities of the medical field.

Outside of work, Geoff enjoys traveling, playing tennis, spending time with friends and family, and going on long hikes with his dog, Otis.
