Overview
Elizabeth Demler is an accomplished litigator and senior counsel in WSHB’s New York City office. She is known for achieving favorable outcomes, by strategically making motions, pursuing efficient, favorable settlements where they serve the client’s interests, and taking matters to trial when prudent.
Elizabeth focuses her practice on labor law and construction litigation, toxic tort, premises, and complex general liability actions, on behalf of insurance companies, property owners, contractors, and more. She has practiced extensively in state, federal, and appellate courts, with great success. Prior to joining WSHB, Elizabeth worked at both staff counsel and defense firms in New York.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, and her Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University. She is admitted to practice in the New York State Courts, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
