Overview
DeAndreth Isaacs is a senior associate at WSHB’s Jacksonville, Florida, office, where she concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation and insurance coverage matters. She brings a strong foundation in general liability defense, having represented individuals, businesses, property owners, and national insurers in high-exposure cases involving premises liability, motor-vehicle negligence, and other tort-based claims.
DeAndreth’s practice is marked by her strategic analysis, sophisticated case management, and ability to navigate the demanding expectations of major insurance carriers with precision and efficiency.
Before joining the WSHB, DeAndreth developed meaningful litigation experience as an associate attorney, where she took ownership of files from inception through resolution, prepared procedural motions, conducted extensive written and oral discovery, and collaborated closely with clients to evaluate liability, damages, and risk. Her work also included drafting coverage evaluations and preparing comprehensive analyses to support mediation and settlement strategies in complex matters.
Prior to entering legal practice, DeAndreth served as a corporate representative for multiple insurance carriers. In that role, she interfaced directly with defense counsel, participated in litigation proceedings, and gained firsthand insight into how insurers assess exposure, manage risk, and determine litigation strategy—experience that now informs her client-focused, carrier-aligned approach to defense work.
DeAndreth graduated magna cum laude from law school, earning several book awards and ranking 13th out of 142, placing her in the top 10% of her class. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, completed cum laude. During law school, she was featured in Benchmark Magazine for her academic excellence and emerging leadership within the legal community.
She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, and she is fluent in English and Jamaican Patois.
