Overview
Damaris Shakesphere is an associate attorney in WSHB's Philadelphia office, where she handles complex civil litigation. She regularly represents insurers and businesses in a wide range of liability matters, including general liability, premises liability, and product liability.
Damaris earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, cum laude, from Dillard University, and her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Sherry L. Wilson in the Criminal Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer Vicinage.
Outside her legal practice, Damaris serves as a board member for the Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families through education and community-based initiatives. She is also the Young Lawyer Liaison for the Civil Litigation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
