Overview

Chris González is an associate attorney in WSHB’s New York City office. He concentrates his practice on general liability and labor law, with hands-on experience across all phases of case preparation and litigation.

Before joining WSHB, Chris served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department. In the Tort Division, he defended the City in a wide range of municipal liability matters, gaining invaluable litigation experience and knowledge.

Chris earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of News for the Syracuse Journal of Global Rights & Organizations and as treasurer of the Latin American Law Students Association. He contributed pro bono work at the Sherman F. Levey Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and interned with Hon. Richard G. Latin of the New York Supreme Court, 11th Judicial District. Chris holds a B.A. in political science from Arcadia University, where he competed as a member of the men’s NCAA Division III cross country and track teams.
