Overview

Cecilia Torello is an associate attorney at WSHB’s San Diego office, where she handles complex civil litigation focusing on construction, transportation, and product liability cases.

With extensive experience at both small and mid-sized law firms, Cecilia has handled a wide variety of complex tort and casualty matters, as well as construction defect cases. While she has worked on cases for both plaintiff and defense, Cecilia has found her passion advocating for clients in the defense arena where she brings a thoughtful, responsive, and solutions-oriented approach to every case. Cecilia has developed a well-versed litigation skill set that includes case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, negotiation, and trial preparation.

She began her legal career at a young age as a legal assistant and paralegal before attending law school. Cecilia earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from New Jersey City University. While in law school, she completed a judicial internship in the Criminal Division of the San Diego Superior Court. This experience provided valuable insight into courtroom procedure and judicial decision-making, further sharpening Cecilia’s litigation instincts and commitment to ethical advocacy.

Cecilia is licensed to practice law in California and Pennsylvania.
