Wood Smith Henning & Berman congratulates Los Angeles partner Domingo Tan on his installation to the Board of Governors of the Philippine American Bar Association (PABA). The event will take place during the organization's 50th Anniversary Installation and Awards Gala on August 25, 2026, at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel. The milestone celebration, held from 6:00-9:00 p.m., commemorates five decades of service, advocacy, and leadership within the legal profession and the Filipino American community.
Tan's appointment to the Board of Governors reflects his longstanding commitment to professional leadership and service. As a board member, he will help support PABA's mission of advancing diversity within the legal profession, promoting equal access to justice, and fostering professional development for attorneys and law students.

He has served as lead counsel in numerous multimillion dollar residential and commercial construction disputes, representing Fortune 500 companies, major publicly traded and privately held builders, real estate developers, contractors, construction managers, and design professionals. His extensive litigation experience includes every stage of complex civil matters, from pre-litigation strategy through trial.

They immigrated to the United States building their lives in Los Angeles and both becoming American citizens. Domingo and his wife work to pass down to their son and daughter what they learned from his parents regarding the importance of family, hard work, respect for others, generosity and compassion.
