Partner at Wood Smith Henning & Berman will share commercial construction design litigation expertise at professional development seminar

WSHB’s Sam McDermott is scheduled to speak at the 2015 AGC Annual Conference to be held at October 21-24, 2015 at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA. At 10:00 am on Friday, October 23, Sam will share his litigation expertise at "Whose Design Is It Anyway? BIM, IPD, Design-Build, and the New Reality of Commercial Construction Risk in a 3-D World."

A partner in the Orange County office of WSHB, Sam has litigated numerous cases at the state and federal level involving complex construction, tort and environmental issues. He has an extensive amount of experience in commercial construction litigation involving construction payment disputes, delay damages, onsite injuries, workplace regulations, prevailing wage claims, professional liability and construction quality issues. Sam has also represented some of the nation’s largest residential builders in construction defect issues, and he also handles a substantial number of transactional and administrative matters.
