Overview

AJ Rockett is a partner in WSHB’s Portland office handling complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on transportation, construction and employment. She has previous experience as an investigator for the State of Oregon and spent over 8 years as a Deputy District Attorney. These early experiences provided her with extensive courtroom and trial experience handling a wide variety of cases as well as a deep understanding and familiarity with the intersection of constitutional and civil rights issues, as well as Oregon administrative licensing and disciplinary processes. She brings to every case an ease and familiarity with the courtroom and powerful oratory skills in representing her clients.

AJ received her law degree from Michigan State University School of Law. She completed her undergraduate degree at Oregon State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While attending law school, she completed internships with the Michigan Attorney General’s Office and the Michigan High School Athletic Association. She was also a member and President of the MSU Entertainment & Sports Law Society and was able to practice landlord-tenant law under a student practice rule for the school’s Landlord-Tenant Law Clinic.

In her free time, AJ enjoys hiking with her dog, college football and basketball, and traveling.
