July 31, 2019

(Las Vegas, NV) WSHB’s Nevada office recently welcomed the latest addition to their senior counsel class, litigator Richard Young. Known by developers and contractors throughout the State of Nevada for his prowess and sage guidance in handling all facets of construction litigation, Mr. Young has achieved success in all issues emanating from construction, from construction defect to employment.

“Nevada’s legal community is a small one. For years, I have had my eye on WSHB and the impressive results their lawyers have secured and their growth locally and nationally in terms of practice areas and bench strength,” said newly minted senior counsel, Richard Young. “I’m thrilled to be part of WSHB and look forward to be an active participant in the upward trajectory of the Nevada office and firm overall.”

In addition to a national reputation in the arena of construction, Richard also receives critical acclaim for his skill set and results handling of commercial trucking, transportation and commercial complex litigation. On the transactional side, Richard’s expertise handles difficult transactional issues including risk transfer, contract preparation, and pre-claim navigation. Richard also has experience addressing and advising on insurance coverage issues.

“Richard is a graduate of the rigorous training at Pepperdine University’s prestigious Straus Institute, which gives him an added advantage when it comes to alternative dispute resolution,” said WSHB’s Firmwide Managing Partner Stewart Reid. “He enjoys a reputation for being creative, innovative and for securing consistent results for clients regardless of the type of case he is handling.”
