Overview
Thomas P. Fay is an associate attorney in WSHB's Los Angeles office, where he brings broad legal experience across a wide range of practice areas. His areas of expertise include personal injury, wrongful death defense, general liability, and civil rights and police matters. Mr. Fay has represented both private and public entities in cases involving sexual abuse and harassment, including child abuse and sexual assault, workplace discrimination and retaliation, product liability, and motor vehicle accidents.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of the litigation process, including legal research and analysis, discovery, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and motions. Mr. Fay has secured numerous favorable outcomes for his clients across California, including successful motions for summary judgment, motions for judgment on the pleadings, and motions to dismiss.
Mr. Fay earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2022, where he served as a research assistant studying Supreme Court decision-making and appellate trends. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music performance, with minors in philosophy and statistics, from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He is a proud member of the California Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Outside of the office, he is beginning to learn to play violin. He enjoys traveling with his partner, working on BMW track cars, studying Latin, and exploring new cuisines.
