Tessa Mears is an associate in WSHB’s Tampa office, where she focuses her practice on insurance coverage. Tessa earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where she double-majored in Political Science and Criminology. While at Florida State, Tessa spent time working for the Florida Senate and valued the opportunity to witness the political process on the state level.
After receiving her undergraduate degree, Tessa attended the University of Miami School of Law, where she was honored to be selected as a member of the Society of Bar & Gavel. During her time in law school, Tessa served as the Executive Editor of the Inter-American Law Review and a member of the Charles C. Papy Moot Court Board. In addition, Tessa served as an intern for the Professional Responsibility and Ethics Program, where she provided CLE trainings for attorneys that focused on how to navigate ethical dilemmas in the legal field.
As an associate with the firm, Tessa uses her experience to bring an ambitious and detail-oriented approach to the representation of clients.
